Quote of the Week
Charity (sadaqah) is due upon every joint of a person on every day that the sun rises. Administering justice between two people is an act of charity; and to help a man concerning his riding beast by helping him on to it or lifting his luggage on to it is an act of charity; a good word is charity; and every step which you take to prayer is charity; and removing that which is harmful from the road is charity." Reported by al-Bukharee (Eng. Trans. 4/146/no.232)

Qurbani - 2009

Every year Al-Khair carries out Udhiyah (Qurbani) on behalf of thousands of Muslims from UK and Europe. Al-Khair will perform Qurbani on your behalf in some of the most needed and poorest areas in Indian Sub Continent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) and will make sure that the meat is utilised properly rather then going waste.

The cost of a share in cow is GBP 25.00 whole cow GBP 175.00 and for a sheep or goat is GBP 47.00.

A share in a cow distributed as a cooked meal is GBP 25, whole cow GBP 170 and sheep/goat GBP 40 (in addition to the standard Qurbani costs).

In addition to the Qurbani we can arrange an Eid Gift Pack on your behalf to the needy at the cost of GBP 25 per pack for a family of four or GBP 100 for four to five families.

Below is a table of the prices for our Qurbani Projects in different locations.
